Palaniswamy, who was elected by the AIADMK legislators in Golden Bay Resorts as the leader of their party, met Tamil Nadu (TN) Governor Vidyasagar Rao and submitted a list of signatures of nearly 128 MLAs as his supporters. The ball is now, realistically speaking, in Governor's court. He has to either invite Palaniswamy to form the government or ask him to test his strength on the floor of the Assembly. Meanwhile, an AIADMK Member of Parliament (MP) said that Palaniswamy will definitely be sworn in as the chief minister. They were all in the resorts on their own accord, he said.
