Sasikala anonymously elected as AIADMK Legislative party leader -Updates

Tamilnadu politics heated up following the resignation of the Chief Minister O Panneerselvam on Sunday. Reports from AIADMK sources said that Sasikala's name as the legislature party leader was proposed by O Panneerselvam and it was seconded by other party MLAs. With this, the 59-year old, a long-time confidante of the former CM J. Jayalalithaa, is all set to become the Chief Minister of the State. On the other hand, AIADMK MLAs have sought the appointment to meet the Governor Vidyasagar Rao to appraise him of the developments.
