Controversy over Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy statue installation in Kurnool
The statue installation process of the former Chief Minister Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy of United Andhra Pradesh has become the subject of political dispute in the Kurnool district. One of the ardent fans of the former Chief Minister has built the statue at the Peapully town three years back. The Statue is likely to be installed shortly but the District Collector Vijay Mohan has reportedly passed the order to revenue officials of the Peapully stating that the statue should be removed if there is no official permission to install it. This has provoked the situation and Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy, the former central minister and the son of the former Chief Minister, has condemned the move. Watch the video.
