AR Rahman To Observe Fast In Support Of Jallikattu

Music maestro AR Rahman has extended his support towards the traditional festival of Jallikattu and tweeted saying that he will observe fast in support of Tamil Nadu's spirit amid ongoing protests across the state. Oscar-winning music director's tweet reads thus, 'I'm fasting tomorrow to support the spirit of Tamil Nadu.' Thousands of young men and women have been staging a protest at Marina Beach in Chennai to lift a ban on Jallikattu and also demanded a ban on People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
