Thousands of people have signed a petition objecting against the use of animal fats in the manufacture of Britain's new plastic five-pound notes. But the Bank of England says the substance in question is also commonly used to make candles and soaps. Especially, vegetarians are angered by new plastic five-pound note and are objecting to it. A market analyst said that the British government should address the issue.
