Delhi court issues non-bailable warrant against Vijay Mallya
Patiala House Court of Delhi has issued non-bailable warrant against liquor baron Vijay Mallya for evading repeated summons in a FERA violation case. The court said that liquor baron has scant regard for the law of the land and has no intention to return to India . The court had earlier asked Vijay Mallya to be present in the court on November 4 and had asked the Ministry of External Affairs to send a non-bailable warrant to Mallya in London. The Supreme Court had also asked Mallya in October to file a detailed affidavit about his entire assets within a month.
