Delhi national zoo park closed for public
The National Zoo Park in Delhi has been closed for public, indefinitely, following the death of nine birds in it. The sudden death of the birds has been caused by H5 Avian Influenza virus, the zoo authorities said later, after a test. There are chances of the disease spreading to humans as well and that is why the zoo has been shut down, the authorities clarified. Steps are being taken to ensure the safety of other animals in the zoo.
