In Eamcet 2 paper leak case, DSP Balu Jadhav, who is part of investigating team, had struck a deal with a broker for not arresting him. During the probe, it was found a Vijayawada-based broker was involved in the Eamcet 2 paper leakage. Balu Jadhav met broker in Vijayawada and showed him a fake CID report. The DSP asked broker to pay him Rs 3 lakh for letting him off. Immediately, broker arranged Rs 1.5 lakh and handed over to DSP. The DSP role came to light after another police team arrested the broker.
