Theresa May, first PM to lead UK’s post-Brexit era
The change of guard is taking place in Britain after the Brexit referendum. The United Kingdom will have a new Prime Minister within the next 24 hours when Theresa May takes over from David Cameron. May was elected unopposed as leader of the ruling Conservative Party - and therefore automatically becomes Prime Minister. Some political opponents are calling for a General Election but the main opposition party appear to be in total disarray.
