40 crores saplings to be planted in Telangana: Jogu Ramanna

Minister Jogu Ramanna said that this year 40 crore saplings will be planted in Telangana as part of Harita Haram programme. An action plan is ready for this, he added. Anyone who digs a hole in an empty space and plants a tree will be given Rs. 5 per month for it's maintenance, the minister said. Students will be also be made to participate in Haritha Haram, Jogu Ramanna said.
