RBI Governor Rajan Says no to Second Term, Congress Calls it India's Loss
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan said on Saturday he will leave the central bank when his term ends on September 4 and plans to return to academia. Raghuram Rajan was a popular economist at the IMF and he was popular and was cheered by the investors for his efforts before taking the reigns of RBI. The Congress has termed Rajan's exit a loss to India and Rahul Gandhi took potshots at PM Modi by satirically saying that Modi knows everything and doesn't need experts like Rajan.
