Krishnaiah vows to oppose proposal to include Kapus in BC s

Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Association president R. Krishnaiah staunchly opposed the move to include Kapu community in Backward Classes. As reservations are done on the basis of population, the inclusion of all Kapus in BC categories, will lead to chaos, he said. If that is the case, the reservations for BC s should be increased from present 25 per cent to 50 per cent, he demanded.
