Group rivalry in Cong surfaces in the presence of TPCC chief
Followers of former MLA Dugyala Srinivasa Rao and DCCB Chairman Raghava Reddy entered into altercation after the later's followers opposed Dugyala's participation in a meeting convened by TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy to elicit opinion on selection of party candidate for Warangal Lok Sabha by-election. Raghava Reddy's followers raised slogans against Dugyala alleging that he worked against the party in ZP elections by colluding with the TRS. A Congress leader Somaiah was injured in the melee. Dugyala's followers lodged a complaint against six followers of Raghava Reddy.
