Interesting tweet from actor Jr NTR on renaming health varsity

Hyderabad, September 22: After Nandamuri family members expressed unhappiness over renaming NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) after former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR), Tollywood actor Jr. NTR responded on the issue through a tweet.
Actor tweeted, “NTR and YSR are great politicians with immense popularity. Renaming one name by another will not increase YSR status and decrease status of NTR. No one can erase memories of NTR’s name and fame from the hearts of Telugu people by changing the name of a health university.” Now, the tweet has gone viral on social media.
On Wednesday, the AP government passed a Bill in the Legislative Assembly and Council renaming health varsity after YSR. Opposition parties TDP, BJP, Jana Sena and CPI opposed the YSRCP government’s decision. Even TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu met Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan here on Thursday and brought to his notice regarding change of varsity name.
