Gudur: Gang war between B. Tech & polytechnic students of Audisankara Engg College

Gudur, May 24: A video pertaining to gang war between B. Tech and polytechnic students of Audisankara College of Engineering and Technology went viral on social media. A group of students brandishing swords and sticks were seen thrashing a student. Sources said two groups have been attacking each other for the last 15 days near the national highway close to the college.
Locals said it is common for students of the college to form gangs and thrash each other. According to reports, the police bring the students to police station whenever they receive complaints. The cops are conducting counselling to students without registering cases against them as their careers will be in danger.
Locals alleged that management of the college is not taking any measures to prevent such kind of incidents by debarring students. Even, the students don’t have fear of police or college management, they said and asked police to take stern action against the students involved in such activities.
