Sridevi posthumously honoured at 71st Cannes Film Festival
Late Bollywood actress Sridevi, who passed away on 24 February in a tragic accident in Dubai, was posthumously honoured at the 71st Cannes Film Festival. It is Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who received the award on her behalf. Sridevi's producer husband Boney Kapoor and his daughters Janhvi and Khushi were overwhelmed with the said recognition. Indian superstar Sridevi was honoured with the TITAN Reginald F Lewis Film Icon Award, which celebrates women of the film industry all over the world. The screen legend was also honoured with the National Award at the 65th National Film Awards ceremony in Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.
